Mission Statement
The word "mountain" is defined in the dictionary as an elevation on the earth's surface, a steep hill. The phrase "to move a mountain" is defined as achieving spectacular results, or to make every possible effort.
In the construction industry, many times the physical peaks are brought low, but also, in every project lies a mountain that requires strategy and skill. To achieve the impossible often requires tenacity of spirit and fortitude. At Hard Rock Road Building & Utilities, our goal is to move those mountain-like obstacles; whether they be the physical mountain, or the unimaginable task.
We will strive to be efficient in our customer skills- treating everyone with respect and dignity. We will manage our money to afford us the opportunity to aid those with tight budgets or to save the taxpayers money on government contracts. We will endeavor to treat the land with our admiration and to be a part of conservation for the future. We will become an asset to our community and a resource of knowledge and skill in the construction industry. When you dignify others, they will in turn, dignify you by becoming a repeat customer. Let us help you..."move your mountain."
Company
After many years in the heavy construction field, opportunity presented itself to found HARD ROCK ROAD BUILDING & UTILITIES, INC. HARD ROCK's focus is to provide outstanding customer service, quality workmanship, and competitive pricing in a field that has many players. Ryon is the Vice President and Field Supervisor of HARD ROCK, and leads the crew with over 15 years of underground utility experience and hard work ethic. His enthusiasm and honest business dealings have developed into many outstanding relationships with the local engineering firms and local government, along with developers and new homeowners. We have tried to establish core values directed toward both our clients and the industry. By producing the highest standard of quality work in a timely fashion, HARD ROCK is continuing to develop as a leader in the field, and has proved to be a company that provides more than the bid price.....lasting relationships for the future!
Ryon's foundation comes from starting as a young man operating heavy equipment, both in the construction field, but also, both of our families owned and operated logging operations in Idaho & Oregon. Hard work, long hours, and tedious projects established a man that not only uses his time wisely, but money too. With the ability to supervise and coordinate both personnel and various types of heavy equipment he was able to hold a supervisor's position for a large local construction company for several years before propelling into self-employment. The skills developed within a large organization allowed him the opportunity to be involved with a variety of difficult and intricate projects for the Montana Department of Transportation, City of Helena, and private clients. In addition, he was able to see that big business does not mean an "all or nothing" attitude. And, as our mission statement states, entrusting dignity to our clients, valuing their opinions, ideas, and dreams, has helped us to launch into a business that is rapidly growing, and we enjoy being a part of the innovation and planning process. So, accessibility and communication is a key factor in our development.
As our business has grown and changed, Valeria has learned the ropes of underground utilities. This, coupled with the never ending task of managing finances, estimating, and at times, the Foreman duties of a project help Val to find success as the President of HARD ROCK, therefore, enabling HARD ROCK to be part of a larger market of possible projects.
Ryon & Valeria welcome questions and discussion relating to new projects and expansion. We make the time and do the research enabling every client to achieve their goals. We look forward to the opportunity for continued growth, and a positive influence on the Helena community.
